Checkpoint recording studio provides services such as tracking, reamping, mixing and mastering of your tracks and also renting the studio with your own sound engineer.

We have started as a musical complex made for rehearsals and drum lessons in Kyiv. After some time we developed into recording studio also providing sound engineering courses.

Checkpoint Studio is always upgrading musical gear for recording purposes providing the best quality of our services.

Checkpoint Studio at 117 Saksaganskogo Str. (Саксаганського 117):

  • Tracking room is 30 m2
  • Control room 30 m2
     

Our services:

  • Tracking - 1500 grn/hour
  • Reamping - 1500 grn/hour
  • Tracking or reamping the same day starting from 4 hours and more - 1400 grn/hour
  • Mixing & mastering - from $120 to $200 (depends on the tasks of the track)
  • Single hours mixing - $25 per hour
  • Music arrangements - individual prices
  • Session musician work -  individual prices
  • Drum cymbals rent -  individual prices

Recording at our Checkpoint Drumschool place at 13/15 Observatorna Str. (Обсерваторній 13/15):

  • Tracking room - 70 m2
  • Individual prices

Recording studio booking rules

RULES:

  • Minimum booking - 2 hours!
  • Prepayment only!
  • Booking cancellation is allowed at least 2 days before the event.
  • For bookings of 4 or more hours, cancellation is allowed at least 5 days before the event!
  • Otherwise, your booking and payment are non-refundable!
  • Rescheduling/reducing recording time is also allowed at least 2 days before the event (and 5 days for bookings of 4+ hours) and is considered as a cancellation – you will pay for the reserved hours in full if the terms are neglected.
  • Equipment testing, microphone setup and routing - up to 1 hour of time. For drums - it is minimum of 1 hour time!
  • 25-30 minutes at the end of the session for equipment disconnection.
