“I first heard of Alexisonfire back in 2004–2005, right around the time their album “Watch Out!”, which I consider their best that was released.
I was just starting to play the drums back then and was into punk rock and hardcore, and I was beginning to discover screamo and emo. I decided it would be cool to cover something from that period and relive those emotions as if I were hearing the track for the first time, but now playing it from memory."
"When I analyzed this song it turned out that it was recorded in the studio without a metronome, and the tempo fluctuates between 180 and 230 bpm. I had to play by feel in some parts and to the click in others. I also had to tweak the drum transcription I found a bit because there were some inaccuracies, which also added a bit of extra work to this project.
